Nurture in Nature - Family Sessions:
The Link, Loanhead
These sessions have no age restrictions. There will be a range of activities that participants can choose to take part in such as tool use, woodland craft, plant and animal identification, den building and campfire cooking. Planting and growing food in the community garden. By allowing the children to play, it will provide them with key learning opportunities and boost wellbeing and confidence.
A substantial snack will be provided.

Nurture in Nature - Pre School & Infant:
The Link, Loanhead
Activities will include messy play, craft activities, sensory activities, den building, plant and animal id and foraging. Sessions will be child-led with plenty of time for free unstructured play. Available for family members to be involved with the child’s development through free play with other children. Having a break during the session to have a snack and the leader can facilitate further communication between parents, caregivers and peer supporters.

Nurture in Nature - Junior Rangers in partnership with Big Wild Life:
Burghlee Park, Loanhead
At Junior Rangers aimed at 8 - 14, participants will have the opportunity to take part in a range of fun activities including campfire cooking, woodland management, foraging, den building, ropes courses, woodland craft and tool use. Young people will have the opportunity to play, be active and enjoy themselves. The whole session is based in the woods and they will have time to be with their friends/peers.
If you would like to book in your child for both sessions on the same day, please do and we will have lunch together between the sessions.
